Normalizing soft tissue, improving range of motion, and correcting imbalances is the absolute best way to prevent injury and promote optimal athletic output. Unless you’re 12-years-old or some kind of gymnast, you probably need to give this stuff a hard look. Mobility work, compression therapy, myofascial release, and other recovery techniques MUST be a part of any serious heavy athletics program.
